Consulting
Creative
consulting
Along with performing, I work with teams on magic and special effects, live events and AI prototypes. I also give talks about attention and perception.
Services
How I can help
Magic & effects consulting
Illusions, props and on-camera effects for TV, film, commercials and live shows. Past credits include The Ellen DeGeneres Show and DreamworksTV.
Experience design
Installations, activations and guest journeys for festivals, hotels and brand events, from the first sketch to a prototype you can walk through. Example: Airship Simulator, a walk-in festival concept.
AI prototyping sprints
I help turn an idea into a prototype people can try. Projects like Uncrop.ai and Monster.Pal are examples.
Keynotes & workshops
The Science of Astonishment: what magic shows about attention and perception, drawing on my UC Davis studies in visual illusions and human factors. Includes live magic.
How it works
Call. Sketch. Build.
A conversation
Start with a call. Share the goal, the audience and the feeling you want people to leave with.
A sketch
I come back with a short written direction and a few options, each with a rough scope.
A working thing
A routine, a prototype, an installation plan or a live session - something you can test and show.
